The theme of the "Acknowledging the Present" mixtape is based upon the fact that salvation is a gift, or 'present' (Romans 6:23). It also relates to acknowledging this gift of God, which is namely Christ himself (Matthew10:32, 1 John 5:20). Additionally, it acknowledges present-day situations and issues that exist in the world (corruption, immorality, war, famine, disease, etc), also providing a biblical response to these ailments. "Acknowledging the Present" is the third and final portion of a three-project collaboration series that includes "Remembering the Future" and "Forgetting the Past".
